These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of hitchcockfarms.com (the "Site"), operated by Hitchcock Farms, Inc. ("Hitchcock Farms," "we," "us," "our"). Please read them carefully.
1) Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. If you use the Site on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

The Site is intended for a business audience — foodservice operators, distributors, brokers, retailers, and others interested in our products and operations. It is not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to submit information through the Site.

You may view, download, and print pages from the Site for your own internal business or personal reference.

All content on the Site — including text, articles, blog posts, recipes, photographs, images, video, graphics, page layout, and design — is owned by Hitchcock Farms or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright and other intellectual property laws.
"Hitchcock Farms" and our logos, product names, and brand marks are trademarks of Hitchcock Farms, Inc. Nothing on the Site grants you a license or right to use any of our trademarks without our prior written permission.

5) No orders or sales through the Site
The Site is provided for informational and marketing purposes. It is not an offer to sell, and no order, quotation, contract, or price commitment is created by using the Site or submitting a form through it.
Product listings, descriptions, specifications, pack sizes, seasonal availability, and any pricing shown on the Site are provided for general reference only, may change without notice, and do not constitute a binding offer. All sales of product are made only under separate written terms agreed between Hitchcock Farms and the buyer, including any applicable purchase order, confirmation, invoice terms, and specifications. Those terms — not these Terms — govern any sale.

6) Product, nutrition, and food-handling information
Blog posts, guides, nutrition information, storage and handling guidance, recipes, and similar content on the Site are provided for general informational purposes only.
This content is not nutritional, dietary, medical, or food-safety advice, and it is not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified professional or for your own food-safety program. Nutritional values, yields, shelf life, and handling outcomes vary with growing conditions, variety, season, storage, transport, and preparation. You are responsible for verifying that any information you rely on is appropriate for your operation and for complying with all applicable food-safety laws, regulations, and standards, including your own HACCP or food-safety plan.

7) Accuracy of information and editorial standards
We take what we publish seriously. Our blog, recipe, and guide content is created or vetted by people who work in produce for a living, is checked against our own growing and packing experience and against recognized food-safety standards, and is reviewed on a regular cycle. How we research, source, review, and update content — including how we use AI tools and how we handle corrections — is described in our Editorial Standards.
Even so, we do not warrant that Site content is complete, accurate, current, or error-free. Content may contain typographical errors, and information about seasonality, availability, product specifications, nutrition, and food-safety standards changes over time.

14) Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Monterey County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
15) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
16) Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Hitchcock Farms regarding your use of the Site.
